I've spent 13+ years in software development and IT consulting, starting out in SAP consulting before moving into mobile and backend engineering. Since 2021 I've been managing cross-functional teams, while staying hands-on with development alongside them.
I joined Zenjob as a Mobile Developer, building and maintaining the Android and iOS apps, then moved into an Engineering Manager role in 2021, leading a cross-functional team of full-stack engineers. Alongside managing, I stayed involved in development — contributing code, resolving incidents and also being part of the on-call rotation for the engineering team. I closely coordinated with product managers, designers, and stakeholders from commercial, operations, and finance to align on priorities and keep delivery on track. I also helped shape the hiring process and focused on growing people through performance cycles and building a team people enjoyed being part of.
Before Zenjob, I was a Lead Mobile Developer at Philips, working on mobile apps for IoT devices across Android and iOS. I contributed to the shared IoT library used across multiple mobile apps, and mentored developers while helping establish mobile development best practices for the team.
